Penarth Summer Festival is fast approaching, on 13th & 14th July and in line with the town’s plastic free status, the Festival will be plastic free!
As per recent Festivals and Picnic Penarths, traders will be using veg ware containers and non plastic cutlery. However, this year, drinking containers will be fully biodegradable and no plastic water bottles will be sold.
Instead, festival goers are encouraged to use their own cups and bottles, with free drinking water provided from refillable stations.
Penarth’s events continue to evolve and this is another way we can all contribute to keeping Penarth a great place to live and visit.
