During the past year, the Older People’s Commissioner for Wales has been working with a range of partners to protect older people from abuse and crime, and ensure they can access the help and support they may need. You can find out more about the work of their Stopping Abuse Action Group here.
As part of their work, they have developed a new information leaflet to provide information and support for older people experiencing abuse, or those who may be at risk. The leaflet – available to download below – helps people recognise the signs of abuse and the different forms it can take, what people can do if they are concerned about someone else, and where they can go for help and support.
