Welsh Government-funded childcare extended to all two-year-olds in Vale of Glamorgan
Families across the Vale of Glamorgan can now apply for funded childcare for all two-year-olds. From the 2nd November 2026, all parents and carers of children aged two in the Vale of Glamorgan will be eligible for up to 12.5 hours of Welsh Government-funded childcare per week, regardless of where they live in the local authority.

The Vale of Glamorgan Council want to hear from parents and carers across the Vale about their experiences of childcare.
