Vale of Glamorgan Council are launching an Active Travel Consultation for local residents.

Active travel means walking and cycling (including the use of mobility scooters) for everyday journeys. This includes journeys to school, to work, to the shops or to access services e.g. health or leisure centres.

Vale of Glamorgan Council said:

As part of the validation process, the Council has a duty to consult with a wide audience. Therefore, the Council invites you to make comments on the proposed routes that have been identified on the plans. All comments and recommendations must be received by the Council no later than 15 September 2017 to enable the Council to consider your views and make any adjustments to the proposed maps prior to submission to Welsh Government by the deadline.

After viewing the maps, please provide your feedback via one of the following:

1. Complete the online survey

2. Email your comments and suggestions directly to activetravel@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk

A consultation event will be held at The Kymin on Thursday 6th July from 1.30pm – 6.30pm at which you can view the maps and share your views.
