Calypso Caribbean Night

Domestics Vibes are a traditional ‘Old Time Calypso’ String Band. They are a four piece ensemble featuring the singing and storytelling of Maryanne Roberts, with violin, cuatro and percussion. The songs are upbeat, satirical ballades that provide a colourful, witty narrative set in the heart of the traditional life and culture of Trinidad and Tobago.

This event will be a celebration of Caribbean (and Welsh) life. Local musicians will also feature. Domestics Vibes have performed widely for over two decades, including community events, theatre and carnivals. Expect a great night of dance, energy and colourful song from this completely compelling group of performers.
