Balmoral Film Screening

Young film-making duo Falling Films enjoyed walking past Balmoral, and were intrigued when the ship “disappeared” in Spring 2024. Harry Knight’s “snapshot day” turned into months of fascination, following Balmoral in and out of the Albion Dock Company’s dry dock, capturing with her people their part in the love story of “Saving MV Balmoral for Bristol and Beyond” – a project enabled by The Heritage Fund. Inspired by hearing the recording of Balmoral’s launch at her 75th anniversary celebrations, Harry and Maria have created a fine film where sound can be enjoyed too.
