Penarth Youth Action (PYA) is a youth council in Penarth that works with decision-makers to make sure young people’s views and ideas are taken seriously.
Members of PYA get involved in projects and activities to help make things better for young people in their town. Members are aged 11-18 and are known as Youth Councillors.
Youth Councillors are primarily elected by young people from schools and youth organisations within the town to represent their views, ideas and interests and to take action on their behalf.
