PYA members have done a litter pick at Cosmeston Park as part of our 12 Months of Kindness project.
The 12 Months of Kindness project involves lots of different youth clubs and youth projects run by the Vale Youth Service. Each cl
b or project has to do one kind act for their community for one of the months. PYA members wanted to do a beach clean, however we could not do this, instead we decided to do a litter pick in one of our favourite parks in Penarth, Cosmeston. We had a lovely afternoon, the weather was great and we collected 3 bags of rubbish! It was really good to be a part of looking after our green spaces in Penarth and keeping them clean for people to use this summer!
Llandough Out Loud (LOL) is a youth club in Llandough Primary School, Penarth. For their 12 Months of Kindness project they created a Kindness Box. All of the young people in the school are able to anonymously write nice comments and thank you notes to help make people feel happy and appreciated!
