The Welsh Government has formally launched a £6 million Brexit Resilience Fund which is available to Welsh businesses, to help them adapt to the changes in a post-Brexit Welsh economy. This fund builds on the success of the previous Welsh Government Brexit Resilience fund, delivered by Business Wales.

Business Wales is offering eligible businesses the opportunity to apply for funding of between £10,000 and £50,000 up to 20% of project costs.

The grant is offered in conjunction with a loan from the Development Bank of Wales.

The Brexit Resilience Fund aims to:

  • develop capacity
  • improve processes
  • retain competitiveness
  • safeguard jobs
  • guarantee the trade flows between Wales and the rest of the world

If you have a project in mind that would help you build resilience and cope with the changes you may face post Brexit, this fund may be for you.
To find out more and check whether a business’s project may be eligible, businesses should visit the Business Wales website to access information on the fund, eligibility and guidance on applying,  or contact Business Wales on 03000 6 03000, or on their website https://businesswales.gov.wales/brexit-resilience-fund
