Tesco community champions, Jill and Sharon donate a ‘trolly-load’ of goodies to help Penarth Town Mayor, Cllr Ian Buckley, raise money for his chosen charities.
As Community Champions, Jill and Sharon both act as ambassadors for Tesco in Penarth, working to ensure that the superstore is a neighbor as well as a shop, that can bring genuine benefit to the local community. Both work with the Store Manager and other shops in the region to shape how Tesco can get involved in local community events, providing support where it is most needed, and help keep our customers and colleagues up to date with the most recent community activity.
The many treats including wine, sweet treats, beers and potted plants are set to be prizes in an upcoming fundraiser raffle. If you want to be in with a chance of winning one of these fantastic prizes and supporting some brilliant charities keep an eye out for upcoming mayoral announcements on how to take part.
