On Friday 17th May 2019 some members of Penarth Youth Action attended the Penarth Town Council Annual General Meeting (AGM) at West House in Penarth. We had the opportunity to meet and congratulate the new Penarth Town Mayor, Councillor Angela Thomas and learn more about the charities she will be supporting throughout the year. We are really looking forward to doing some fundraising for the National Autistic Charity.
The link Councillors for 2018-19 have been confirmed as Councillor Rhiannon Birch and Councillor Laura Rochefort and we are looking forward to working them. We also had the chance to meet Joe Hoppe from Penarth Times. He has offered to write some more articles about PYA. We are really excited about having the chance to advertise some of the work that PYA do.
