A vacancy exists for an excellent administrator with a sharp eye for detail. We are seeking a reliable person to form part of a team, providing high standards of service delivery in relation to Penarth Cemetery and the hire of Town Council properties and facilities. The postholder will be required to work 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday e.g., 9.30am – 2.30pm.

In addition to having the necessary interpersonal skills in dealing with the general public, the postholder will be expected to work with accuracy to ensure legal grave records are prepared and maintained. The successful candidate will also be able to prioritise their own workload under the guidance of their line manager.

Experience in dealing with the public as a first point of contact to show our venues to potential hirers, including future brides and grooms, would be beneficial. The successful applicant will be expected to be able to adeptly use Microsoft Office 365 and its various supporting packages. Training will be provided in respect of the Town Council’s computerised booking package that is used to store information.
