The Disasters Emergency Committee brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas.
Devastating earthquakes have killed upwards of 20,000 people, with 17 million people in the affected area in urgent need of shelter, food and medical aid.
