Reminder for Penarth residents of the Age Connects Cardiff & Vale Shopping Service which has been extremely popular during the pandemic.
Do you or someone you know struggle and need extra support to do the grocery shop? If you are shielding, no longer drive, or don’t use the internet your grocery shop can be difficult so why not let Age Connects take that strain? The shopping service may be the answer.
There are a team of volunteers across the Vale of Glamorgan ready to help make that all important list, carry out the shopping and deliver it to your home. Volunteers will be a friendly face who can also keep you informed about local events or services you might need – giving you and your family peace of mind that someone is looking out for you.
There is a fee for this service which is currently £5 per delivery.
