The Penarth Summer Festival is one of best annual community events in the Vale of Glamorgan and has taken place in the Penarth since 1965. Many activities are organised throughout the town during the month of July with Carnival Day being the highlight.
The Festival provides an opportunity for many of our local clubs and organisations to engage the town and embrace the occasion. There is much to see and take part in throughout the Festival that includes many highlights, such as: RAF displays, RNLI displays, the Downhill Derby, Fun Fair Rides, Stage Entertainment, the Clifftop Artists, Fireworks and much more.
To get the most out of the celebrations look out for the programme of events.
This year's Summer Festival runs from the 7th - 17th July with Carnival Day taking place on the 9th July from 1.00pm through to the firework display at 10.00pm.
